Rachel Shelley, Ph.D.

Founder | Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive training in helping children and parents with anxiety, behavioral and related difficulties. She has received specialized training in cognitive behavioral approaches and completed a fellowship in the treatment of OCD and anxiety at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is all about letting kids be kids while developing essential skills to thrive. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Rachel is engaged in teaching, advocacy and philanthropy.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Brittany is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a focus on helping children, teens, and parents build skills to better cope with ongoing stressors and difficult emotions. She utilizes evidence-based strategies such as CBT and DBT into her practice, where she specializes in working with anxiety and mood disorders. She works with kids to build upon their unique strengths while also helping create new and adaptive ways for them to relate to the world.

Yes! Our clinicians are specifically trained in parenting interventions for anxiety, OCD and behavioral problems that only involve parents! We provide a treatment called Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) and various other parenting services that can reduce difficulties without your child ever stepping foot in our offices.
Treatment duration and plan is fully individualized to your child depending on diagnosis and severity of symptoms. Following an initial evaluation, we will collaboratively discuss our treatment recommendations and frequency of sessions. As treatment progresses, we can adjust accordingly to best meet current needs. We strongly believe that therapy is not a forever process and our goal is to work together to get your child back to childhood.
